I have a bit of blogging to catch up on this morning! Just last week, I had taken photos of my friend Amanda. She has been dancing for several years. Ever since I’ve known her, it’s been her number 1 passion to dance 🙂  I’ve always admired dance and have found it to be one of the most intriguing art forms practiced.  I was really inspired to do this shoot when discovering the Ballerina Project.  It is a series of dance portraits done by the very talented Dane Shitagi. He photographs dancers in all different locations, photographing them in moments that clearly define their devotion and personal relationship with dance. The Ballerina Project is one of the most beautiful series of photos I’ve ever viewed. Here are a few photos I’ve taken inspired by Mr. Shitagi’s work.
